This is not really a first look. I've now watched something like 14 or 15 episodes, so this might as well be a full on review.

Animation: 5/5
It fits the feel of the series, and every time they do something that is meant to be funny, it looks funny. It also helps that there have been some scenes where Taiga has looked so cute that it was criminal, but that's another topic entirely.

Story: 5/5
This is probably because this is one of the many kinds of stories that I absolutely love, but it is given a twist that makes it that much more hilarious. To summarize, Ryuuji is our main character. He's a clean-o-phile and because he has beady eyes and looks sort of like his dad who was some sort of mobster (the show doesn't really explain much about that other than he wore magazines under his shirt so he wouldn't get stabbed) In any case, his dad is dead, but that doesn't mean that people aren't still terrified of him because he looks like a delinquent, which is a bit of bad luck for him since he just wants to fit in. In any case, he runs into a rather short girl named Taiga Aisaka. Because she tends to snap at people and become violent at the drop of a hat, is rather short, and is named Taiga, people have started calling her the palmtop tiger. In any case, things become a bit more complicated when they realize that they are crushing rather hard on the other's best friend. Zany highschool hijinx ensues.

Audio: 5/5
This has some really great Audio. Those of you who have read my previous first looks know that normally I'm happy as long as the audio doesn't interfere with the story, even if none of it is particularly memorable. I now wish that I had scored everything else lower in audio, because none of the audio interfered with the story, but I remember pieces of background music from this one. It is really rather good.

That pretty much covers the attitudes and usual actions of all of the characters. While I'm not sure that I'm in love with the music, it doesn't bother me anymore.
