I took a stone cold bullet to the chest
should've wore a vest
bulletproof-because i know what's best
there are signs that show the assailant's
getting closer
and before you know it's over
and you're
on the floor
lying in a puddle of blood
just like the fortune teller said what should
happen-on the night of the
blood red rain

Sit alone in your cabin
just waiting for the venom to take effect
getting a little more impatient
you take the needle again and a second dose inject
all you wanted was to protect
the loved ones you infect
you just can't help but love being a vampire

Deep in the rain
it's all the same
standing tall
no fear at all but
responding to the vampires call

Here in this waterlogged city
where the bloodlust always runs
where we're always usin' guns
and twenty four seven we havin' fun
and nobody ever dies we just get right back up
cause there's no one who can stop us
we just tell'em to "shut the f___ up!"
AHHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!

And there's a corpse up on the balcony
though the sniper took it's place
the corpse should be in the coffin
but he stuffed it in a suitcase
so now the body has gone missing
-I doubt it ever was really there-
I bet it got up and walked away
bet that'll be a scare
and if I ever see that corpse again
screw, know what I sware...!

Ooooh, the ballroom floods with silence
after we've all had our last drink
there's corpses on the dance floor
and blood in every sink
but the party has just started
and we're not done having fuhh-uh-uh-uhn
because the party's never over
until I break out the shotgun

All these corpses dying by my hand
thank you for inviting me
give my compliments to the band
play that gory song once more
I think it sounds quite grand
but it doesn't compare to the vampires' call
summoning me yet again

killing is fun sometimes
though I know it is a sin
but I like to watch you die slowly
as I stand there with a grin
