The Written Word
To write is to empower the mind,
to lift above petty thoughts of uncertainty
and be taken in by the glory of poetry.
To write is to be heard by many,
to express your opinion,
and find a cure for the common word.
To write is to give your heart to someone,
to let them know your innermost desires,
and be unafraid as to how you will be judged.
To write is to reinvent yourself,
but to be secure in who you are,
and who others may be.
To write is to breate,
to write is to live,
A writer is what I am
