New Light
Behind the shadows,
hiding in the dark recesses of your mind.
Thats where you'll find me,
that's where hides the likes of my kind.
I'm what makes you turn away from rational decitions.
I'm the one with which every day you must duel.
I'm the one who made you kick that cat,
and my name is Cruel.
I make your friends hate you,
I killed the neighbors dog,
I took away your humanity,
And replaced it with unknowing fog.
Every day though you do battle with me,
Every day you kick and fight.
Because somewhere deep inside of you,
You want to find new light.
