The Fight
It took me a year to face that night,
The last time me and my sister ever had a fight.
I said so many things I wish I never had,
I Never thought it could turn out bad.
As she flounced to her truck I screamed out the door,
"don't you ever come back you c*** sucking whore!"
I figured we'd talk later, and it would all be fine.
Never knowing the pain that soon would be mine.
I waited all night but she never came home,
Never answered her pager, never picked the the phone.
When the call came the next morning I burt into tears,
The Police had just verified all of my fears.
A drunk driver had hit her and now she was dead,
I fell onto the floor and crawled up to my bed.
I wish I could say sorry,
and apologise for all i'd done.
Cherish a brother or sister,
and never allow them to run.
