Characters may be the hardest things of all to write. The whole story depends on them. Not just your main characters, but the supporting cast.
So I've decided why not play with personality traits on my online gaia journal? Not giving the full descriptions, but part of it. Play around, have fun with my writing. Basically practicing the written word.
she stepped onto the curb, her face taut. Concentrating seemed hard enough as the traffic roared past. She was wrong. It became harder, because the next thing she knew a car had come tearing down the main street just as she had stepped onto the road. But the car was going to fast. She didn't have time to react. She felt the impact slam into her body. Her feet left the ground as she flipped into the air and rolled over the hood of the car. Soon, she heard the sounds of people screaming as the pain washed over her and she faded into unconsciousness.
Just a little excerpt that may or may not get put into a future story. I'll keep writing random paragraphs just for fun, as practice.
