Today I've been wondering stuff... namely, how does one not spend any gold?

I've worked out that saving is a thing of the past. People expect you to spend, spend, spend and not think about any consequences. It's not to say you're no good, or that debt is a bad thing, but heck - it's too tempting to pass up on the opportunity. You just have to look at my wishlist to know that I'm having trouble saving!

The problem is I just don't have enough time on the computer. In 04 when I was first on gaia I had hardly any gold at all. There just wasn't as many options as there is today. Heck, the most you could do was post on the forums, go fishing, write in the journals, and the towns were brand new... Aekea was just starting to blossom with the new housing market. Or was that later on?

Now I simply write in my journal to get gold. Or I write in my journal to have a rant because people don't appreciate it in the forums. Hell, I know I wouldn't. I had my topic moved once because I posted research questions in the wrong forum. How was I supposed to know that it was supposed to be any different? I read the rules... and then promptly forgot them.

So if people just bought my crap in the market, sent me money and helped me along I would be grateful. I don't understand how others get that much so quickly!
