The Writings of Druki
This journal contains stuff that has happened to me either in Gaia or in RL.
Week Status
The past few days have been fun. I went to a youth conferance type thing yesterday, which was cool, and then could've gone to the beach where several, dare I say it?, fine young women would've been, but I forgot about it and made plans with my plans instead. sweatdrop Don't get me wrong, had I remembered the beach party, I would've told my friends I was busy, but you can't tell a friend,"Sorry, I had other things." the day you planned to do something, can you?

So I went bowling. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, seeing my friends again. The first two games were just for fun and games, maybe keeping track of score. But it was fun. Jokes were made with the names, namely at me ("Druki is teh loser", among other ones.). The third game, however, we were running about 20 min. until the time we had left expired. So, we went all speed. We didn't aim, we didn't wait for the pin-picker-upper thingamabobs to finish their jobs. We just went. And we came close to hitting the machines. It was fun.

The 28th was my 2nd Gaia Anniversary. I thought it would've gone a tad better, but I can't complain. I had fun with that.

Then there was the maintenance. It taught me patience. stressed

FFXI...bah, my hatred for the game is growing, but the addiction still holds strong. MMORPGs are like medication: they should only be taken in small doses. FFXI holds true to that. The more you play the game, the more addicting and damaging it becomes. Having to work on my super weak sub-job is damaging to the time I could've been using to train my main job, to doing quests/events, and is getting me annoyed.

On a completely unrelated note, I discovered a new webcomic: www.vgcats.com. If you haven't been there, heard of them, seen clips of their comics and what not, I suggest you haul bum there and read a few of their comics, especially if you're a gamer like me. It's highly satisfying with it's humor, attacking all the popular games, utilizing their character stereotypes and all the bad points to turn it into pure comedy with 20% less calories. It's that good.

Weel Status: Fun, great. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin
