My FanFic- The Ghost's Side Story Ch.2
okay so this is chapter two *confetti*. ya...uh i'll give a little summary cuz this chapter is a bit longer ^^;

Crystal tells her plan on how she intends to get Troy not only out of his room but to stay out. Lila questions her plan but Crystal always has a defense for herself. Meanwhile Tristan just arrive in Altara. Because of the rain he looks for a inn and with his charming personality he gets a really nice room cheap. Time goes on and Crystal begins to question if she was being over confident. She remembers how her mom told her never to count her chicken's before they hatch and eventually falls asleep, dreaming that memory. Snow tells Crystal to wake up but when Crystal does she doesnt see her. A little confused a feeling a bit insane she does as the voice tells her. The next day comes and Jewel wakes up finding thick fog outside. so thick it cant even be seen through. She hurries downstairs worrying about the fact if the parade is still going to happen. She gets the negitive story and then a positive story and chooses to believe the positive one. Troy heard a scream (from ryokka) and goes outside his room finding Jewel. She eventually asks him to the parade and he tries to say no with out actually saying the word no. Lila was heading upstairs to make sure Jewel was okay and is shocked to find Troy out of his room. She requests to go to the parade with them, considering she's never been, and Troy can refuse. Tristan wakes up hungry and heads over to a restraunt called 'Hanadori'. He flirts with a girl who had to be a waitress due to the lack of staff. We later find out its Mitsuki and she goes back to the kitchen a bit pissed off.

After that its deleted scenes, bloopers, and commentary! i had fun with it ^^

Chapter 2: Plotting the Point

Crystal sat at the head of the table. Lila on her right and Ryokka to her left. Jewel was about to leave finding no real reason to hang around any more. Crystal stops her with a voice that hints irony, “Jewel your part of my plan too. Take a seat.”
Jewel blinks, turns around, and sits down, slumping in her chair. Crystal’s wily grin reappears on her face, “Okay…this is the plan; Operation: Get Troy Out of His Room! Everyone has a specific role and all 3 of you are going to the parade.”
Lila objects, “But I have things to do tomorrow. I-I don’t time to go. I mean I have to stay here. Why do we have to go?”
Crystal sighs, “I knew you’d say something like that. You know Troy just as well as Jewel does. If you offer to go with him he’s more likely to go.”
“What about me?” Ryokka replies
“Ya, and me?” Jewel asks
“Jewel, you’re the younger sibling and the one to bring up the idea. You want to go to the parade and want the older sibling to go with you. He objects. Lila over hears. Lila offers to go with Troy and Jewel. Troy would then feel rude for rejecting offer. He accepts.”
“So where am I in all this?” Ryokka re-asks
“Ryokka, you’re also going remember? So you’ll meet them at the parade. You’ll eventually join Troy and Jewel, along with Lila. Slowly Troy will learn to adjust being with people again.”
“I get it!” Jewel exclaims. She smiles at this. That was her idea, which was why she tried to object to Lila making her go with Ryokka. She always went with Troy.
Lila still has many questions running through her head. She speaks as if she doesn’t believe it will work, “But what if it doesn’t work…what if Troy refuses to go…what if h-“
“No what ifs! It will work and he will go! I may not know him as well as you but I know him well enough to figure his reactions to something. You’ll see. Jewel just ask tomorrow. Just ask.”

A man no older than 20 yawns as he look on at Altara. How long had it been since he had it been since he'd been there last? He didn't know. He twitches his nose as a raindrop makes a landing on his nose. Not having a jacket, he goes through town hugging and rubbing his shoulders. By this point it was drizzling and giving the marketplace a gloomy, misty appearance. Then he sees an inn and makes his way inside, flipping his golden hair to make it less damp. He frowns finding no one at the check out counter and lets his bag fall, making a thud. A while later a young woman scurries out, giving quick bows and groveling for making him wait. A charming grin appears on his face and he puts a finger to her lips, which later makes its way to her chin, "There's no need to apologize. Being able to marvel at your beauty makes it worth the wait."
The girl turns bright red as he puts the last of his money on the counter, "It isn't much but it’s all I have..."
She nods nervously. It wasn’t enough money for a room but he seemed like such a nice guy and she didn’t want to send him out in the rain. She looks up to find him smiling softly at her. Her dark bangs cover her blue eyes and she blushes once again, “R-right this way sir.”

Crystal sits under her favorite apple tree in the gardens, hands behind her head. She watches the sun set finding it strange how fast the sun goes down. As the sun dips past the horizon she watches the sky go from orange to pink and eventually night. Her eyes become heavy and close as she ponders on the thoughts that rambled in her head, ‘what if…what if…what if? I can’t worry about those. Just gotta have faith. That’s all.’

A sigh escapes her breath as she opens her eyes to gaze amongst the stars that one by one appeared in the sky. She felt that maybe she was being over confident. “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch Crystal. Doing so will only get you in trouble” is what her mom would tell her. As her eyes close for the second time, her mind drifts from reality and takes its grasp on that memory with her mother…

A woman sighs while washing dishes, “Looks like it may rain tomorrow…”
Crystal, who was only a young girl, sits at the kitchen table gazing out the window, smiling. Her legs sway back and forth easily, being too short to touch the floor. “I bet it’s going to be sunny tomorrow,” she says confidently.
Her mother looks at her as if she’s the most naive girl in the world, “Honestly dear. Don't go counting your chickens before they hatch. It will only get you in trouble.”
Crystal frowns, immediately retorting to her, “Just cuz I can’t hear, see, or touch something I can’t believe it? The greatest people in the world accomplished so much based on faith. Sure some people are only using logic and common sense but they become fools unable to grasp certain truths!”
Her mother stands there dumb-folded not knowing how to counter her daughter’s argument or glaring eyes. She thinks for a moment and gives her reply, “True but as one of those great persons said ‘God doesn't play dice’. What he meant was God doesn't play luck and everything happens for a reason. If something is meant to happen it will. If not it wont.”
Crystal lets her eyes go back to the sky outside the window, realizing what her mother was trying to tell her, “I get it now momma…but I still say sun tomorrow.”

A ghostly figure appears before Crystal her hair white and flowing with a purple ribbon tied upon it. Her eyes are clear and her voice, motherly as she cooed Crystal to get up. Normally she’d slap someone upside the head or shout in their ear in this situation but what was the point? She couldn't see her. “Crystal, wake up. you’ll catch a cold out here…” Snow calls softly
Crystal’s eyes flash open. It was that voice again, that voice whom she could never place. Her head franticly looks to her left and right and even upward, but she saw nothing, ‘I hear that voice…more and more often.’

As she stands up and makes her way to the castle, she gives a quick glance at the apple tree, “Maybe I’m going crazy but…Voice…I hope to meet you one day.”
Though Crystal couldn't see Snow, Snow could see her. It appeared as if Crystal was gazing right at Snow but of course she only saw the apple tree. Crystal makes her way to her room on the second floor going to bed as Voice told her. Snow, who was still standing there, smiles, “Only until one chooses to believe the unseen and we choose to let them see the unseen shall they see ‘we’. We will see each other soon.”

Tomorrow comes and Jewel wakes up, opening one eye at a time. It still seemed dark in her room and she realizes that her curtains were still closes. As she struggles to open them she looks outside to only see fog. A said expression appears on her face as she walks onto the balcony, not able to see anything but white. Becoming worried she gets dressed and dashes down stairs almost tripping, heading to the kitchen. Jewel bumps into Lila and Lila almost drops the trays on the floor. Ryokka though does fall though no one really knows how…
“Is the parade today?” Jewel asks her eyes stating she wanted no for an answer.
“Y-yes but because of the fog it might be canceled…” Lila replies sadly
Crystal rolls her eyes and smiles, “The parade isn’t going to be cancel.”
“Crystal, how is anyone supposed to see in this fog? Everyone would just crash into each other or get lost.”
“By the time the parade starts the sun will be up there. I bet the fog will go away by then and the parade will be on,” Crystal states.
“That’s a suckers bet. You shou-“
“I know, I know. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Do you know how many times I've been told that!?”
Ryokka regains her balance as she stands back up, “You don’t need to shout…”
Crystal crosses her arms, scowling to herself.
Lila sighs, “I'm just stating what I heard in the news.”
Ryokka heads out of the kitchen only to fall again with a tray, “KYAA!”
Lila sighs pretending she didn’t just hear a crash. She continues after Jewel to make sure she’s okay.

Jewel was sulking as she headed to her room. Troy loved the parade and she knew that if he went he would cheer up for sure. She frowns though her eyes were still watering. Clenching her fist and folding her arm upward she shows her confidence, “By the time the sun goes up the fog will go away and the parade will be on!”
“Jewel…?”
Jewel turns around knowing that voice but feeling as if it had been ages since she heard it.
“B-brother…Your up?” she states trying not to act to surprised while she rubs her eyes to hint away tears.
“Well I wasn’t but then I heard a scream…I-is everything okay downst- were you crying?”
“N-no! I just…” Jewel’s voice drifts away but comes back filled with joy. “Its really foggy so I was afraid that we couldn’t go to the parade. But Crystal said that when the sun goes up the fog should go away…We are going to the parade this year right? I mean we go every year…together.”
Troy looks away, “I don’t know. I mean the fog and…”
Lila eyes widened, shocked to find Troy had actually left his room. She lets her thoughts come back to Earth, “If the fog lifts up I…um…could I go with you guys? I know its your thing but…”
Jewel turns to her brother, her eyes begging, “Troy?”
Troy gives a nervous smile unable to say no, “Why not?”
Lila smiled and Jewel hugged her brother. Though they didn’t intend to go according to Crystal’s plan right then and there, natural reaction caused them to. Strange how things went according to plan is what went through both their heads and hope filled their hearts.

Tristan wakes up smiling. If he knew he was going to get such nice room for simply giving one comment he would have thrown more at her. As he gets out of bed his stomach growls loudly. He goes to get his bag in the closet to find some clothes. The girl from before goes to Tristan’s room and knocks but never hears a reply. Figuring he left she goes into his room to clean it so her boss doesn't find out. When she finally gets the door open she finds the guest with nothing but boxers on. To muffle her squeal she covers her mouth and turns around, becoming bright red. Tristan rolls his eyes as he puts some pants on the walks over to her, putting a hand over her head, “Your pretty hot. Your forehead too…Are you overworking?”
Tristan takes his hand off noticing her forehead became twice as hot when he said that.
“I-I’m so sorry! You didn’t answer so I thought you left! I didn't re-“ she stops when his finger is gently pressed to her lips.
“I already told you don't need to apologize to me,” Tristan said before getting a shirt. “Eh, know any good places to eat?”
The girl shook her head trying not to melt into pudding, “Y-yes! There is this one place…Hanadori I think…its really good though!”
“Oh, then I think I’ll head there. Wanna come?”
“N-no! I mean I do b-but I gotta work! Sor- I mean I wish I could,” she says quickly refraining from apologizing.
“That’s too bad…” he says with a sigh.

Tristan asks around to find out this restaurant ‘Hanadori’, but has a hard time seeing in the fog. People give directs only to say behind his back “Looks like another one is after 'er.”. He frowns not knowing what they meant. Finally making it to the restaurant, he smiles as he looks at the menu with many delicious looking and sounding meals. His ears perk catching a conversation.
“What do you mean sick? All of them?”
“N-no…there’s two others but today’s the parade and you know we get busy.”
“Ha, I bet they lied just so they could skip work and see the parade!”
“I know but there’s nothing we can do…can you please be a waitress, just for today at least?”
“Fine…” the girl replies putting on a waitress outfit and getting a nametag.

She sees Tristan and smiles, “Hi. Welcome to Hanadori!”
“Thank you. What’s your name? Surely a beautiful girl like you has beautiful name to match,” Tristan says, his player mind-set turning back on.
Her face goes from a cute smile to a terrifying outlook as she points to her nametag, speaking in a treacherous voice, “You can read can’t you?”
Tristan looks at her nametag and he doesn’t change his attitude despite her reaction, “Mitsuki…hm, I was right it is a beautiful name.”
“Just tell me what you want to eat already,” Mitsuki says harshly, hating his guts due to his player attitude.
Tristan gives his sad innocent child eyes. “But I haven’t decided…”
“Something to drink then?”
“Coffee. Thank you Love,” Tristan says smiling at her.

Mitsuki doesn’t even bother to write down what he asked for. Stomping back to the kitchen proves she isn’t happy. When a chef asks what’s wrong, she gives him her demon eyes and demands someone takes the blonde because she isn't waiting on him. Then she shouts at him saying she was out there for only 5 minutes and it happened again. The man tries to calm her down but she only throws her waitress outfit out him, stating she can’t stand flirts and isn’t going back out there.
