1-12-08: Lori hears the story for the first time
Today, lori told me she had never heard the story of Christ and how he died for us to give us a way into heaven. So I explained to her how Jesus was a perfect man, and how he was crucified for all of the miracles he performed. How he died to wash away out sin because he loved us so much. I told her about how he was hated and lover, and I told her about the Reserection. Her eyes were filled with tears, though I don't remember her shedding any. She had no questions, she only wanted to know more and was open to the idea that this is true, and actually happened. It was awesome. I have introduced her to what could be a new, better life for her and the Holy Spirit opened up her heart,
1-13-08: Lori's first experience at church:
This morning, I took Lori to church with me. She expected it to be boring, but really enjoyed herself and felt comfortable with the people around her. She liked the atmophere and learned a bit more about Jesus and tempation (the lesson today). The Holy Spirit has opened Lori's heart even more, and I hope to take her to church again soon.
