my art. I do not have an idea of what my pieces are going to look like, I merely work the clay making variations as I go. because my piece is not set in stone, I never have to worry about correcting my mistakes, thus allowing me to move at a speed that is far excellent of my peers. this is how I mold my clay, but when I work with people I do it in a far less affective way.
Because I understand standard cognitive development, I have an idea in mind when I begin my art. my goal is to keep that idea away from humanity, allowing them to bend the rules of reality and create a new and wonderful world. I try to bend them off their axis just far enough to see everything in a different color, and never be fettered by normalcy.
My problem, and the curse of my art that people are unwilling to change, If someone says that they are open minded, and truly are, than they must be open to be closed minded too, and few humans have the ability to fully grasp this.
assume that every person is a tower, they may change the outside and some of the inside, but the piller remains sturdy. without this piller, people are not able to function. whether this piller is religion, pleasures or mental/emotional tics, it is always there. once this piller breaks, the person falls to ruble or in this case, insanity. the trouble with people is that they don't understand that they do not need a central piller to function, if to take it out, all you need to do is construct yourself the right way, and you may scrape the outers of insanity without crumbling.
most of society thinks that this is fool speak, those that realize this are too fearful of losing their meaning in life along with their piller. I was only able to see this after I fell, I fell fast, and I fell hard. once you see the paths rayed out in front of you you can chose more than just the path that leads up.
