This would be a long rant about Gaia's latest marketing techniques, except that I'm not sure I care enough to take the time to write it at the moment.
I'm still debating whether or not I will buy any collectibles this month. I'd like to have the items, but I'm thoroughly disgusted with the marketing. There's Gaia ads on nearly every web-comic I visit these days.. those are alright I guess. Here's what I object to: "OMG! If you buy and wear collectibles, your outfits will be SWEARING good!" (Refer to Gaia's current front page.)
+ Getting limited edition items with the collectible letters is not enough! No no. They only sell for $2.50. Lame. More $$$$!!! Now you have to spend $25 to get the latest LE item.

Did I mention there are three items in the collectible again this month too?
And now I will ignore Gaia and report on other things.
I'm not feeling too chipper today, but overall I'm still doing well. Borrowed Pokemon XD from a friend, snagged a Game Cube system last night, now I just need one of the GC - GBA connectors... possibly a second memory card so that the pokemon from the game can be transferred multiple times.... >>;; Oh yes, a friend managed to snag the Coliseum Bonus disc as well, so we'll soon have Jirachi.
Wait, did I mention that already? It bears mentioning again. JIRACHI! YAY! >>;;

I think that's it for now. Have to go home tonight and write something up for Fanime... yes, already... and finish making a character for 7th Sea... oh wait, finish? I haven't really started yet... ><;; At least I get to stay home tonight.

But yeah. I dislike that there are limited-edition items that are highly inaccessible to the general populace. And I don't think they warned us about three items, but luckily I was able to snag a few letters at 12-13k a few days ago--you know, before they jumped to TWENTY-FLIPPING-TWO gold each ... xp
I find it especially irritating that all three items have massive pose-potential. If someone wanted to multi-equip all of the items this month, they'd need at least ten letters, if not more. :/
I need to get another GBA-GC connector. The only way to play Four Swords in multi-player mode is to have all players using their own GBA and cable. sad
