Kava's Ramblings
Insights, Observations, Scenes, Thoughts, and other miscellenous and etcetera from the mind of an online nut...
Blah. Rawr. And um.... Grr?
>>;;;
I meant to finish collecting Kurogane's masks this last weekend... but I ended up on WoW or playing Pokemon XD when I had the time for things like that. I was feeling a bit burned out and frustrated, so killing things on WoW was rather satisfying.

Oh, and I will tell the tale. My main server on WoW is an RPPvP server. I'm really not into PVP much, but it's where my friends were, so that's where I went. On Saturday morning, I was turning in a quest in Stranglethorn Vale. As I approached the NPC to turn in the quest, I noticed there was a level 33 member of the Alliance standing next to the NPC. (My char. is a level 42 Troll Hunter on the Horde side.) I thought it was lucky for them I'm really not into PVP, so I'd just leave them be and turn in my quest. For whatever reason, the dope apparently decided not immediately attacking meant that I was weak. So as I was finishing up the turning in of my quest, he started casting negative status spells on me. I called him a dope because, being 9 levels higher than him, it took me all of about 30 seconds to kill him. He was even standing at the right distance for me to use my bow without moving. Oh well... tales of dopey alliance players. xD;

Moving on!

I just started Pokemon XD Saturday night. I -am- a little disappointed that it seems to re-use the same locations as Coliseum, but I've noticed several differences so far that at least make the game different enough that I don't quite feel as if I'm simply re-playing the same game all over again. Of course, it helps that I only 'helped' play a friend's game of Coliseum. I hope they've got some new locales for Revolution. It will be very disappointing if they don't. I've put off getting it until I finish XD, but I DO intend to get it!

On the Gaia front... bah. I'm still wavering. I might break down and go buy one of the stupid $25 cards from Target if they still have any. -_-; But they had better not make a regular thing of having special items on there, and changing what the item is all the time. *sigh* I know they're a business, but.... ><;;; They -could- choose to avoid the slimy tactics!

Okay, that's it from me for now. Oh, quick note... I'm really starting to enjoy the 7th Sea Game I joined. I sucessfully finished my character, then tweaked her a bit to ensure she's got a reason to fit into the current party of players. She's in a secret society, and I was surprised upon tackling reading the book for that society this weekend to find myself somewhat engrossed despite the fact that it's mainly history. I managed to make it all the way through the book.

Next up - read the nation books for the two major nations that affect my character.

Okay, NOW I'm done. xD; Talk to y'all later~ ^-^

I was thinking of getting Pokemon XD, but then I found out it was a sequel or whatever... then I couldn't find the first and wasn't very interested... so I bought nothing .___.;

I suppose technically it is a sequel. It seems vastly superior to Coliseum so far though. It has more than twice as many pokemon available to be caught, including the ability to catch wild pokemon at the poke spots, plus everyone knows that Lugia is better than Ho'Oh.... ninja xd

It re-uses many of the same locations as Coliseum, but the storyline is rather different and definitely a '5 years later' to the original story in Coliseum. It's nothing that would leave an enormous question mark in your mind if you haven't played the previous game though. ^^
