So I saw the Simpsons movie. And I can honestly say I'm happy with it. It was funny and had all the humor the show does except it was 90min. long which is better.
So I got an e-mail from my brother yesterday (which was extremely unusual because they normally come in on Monday's and we already got one for this week) and it had a pretty funny story.
Quote:
There is this lady who lives in the northern part of the country. She´s
nicknamed La Coka, or the cook, because she makes all the missionaries in the
area Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for a price that is apparently worth it. So
anyway, I´m eating with a few of the missionaries from that specific area,
andshe walks in and begins to talk to us. One of the missionaries tells her,
Hermana, teach him some of your English. Ok... interesting. So she begins
talking to me about her Perra (female dog). She has a name but in English. I ask
her what the name is...
Stupid N*gger
Wait what? I was waiting for the guns to begin firing! She repeats it again. I
couldn´t hold my lunch in my mouth due to the sudden urge to laugh. She said
that she knew a couple of phrases in English that helped her get around when she
was in the states.
Give me weed! I want a hotdog!
Holy crap how did she learn some of these phrases? Did she actually know the
meaning of these phrases? Wow.

I'm laughing at it and whatever. It was pretty funny.
So I'm on today and I find this video:

And I can't help but wonder:
1. Why are people teaching these phrases.
2. Why are people wanting to learn these phrases.
3. Why doesn't America have these kinds of programs.
Anyways, pretty funny stuff.
