Howdy everyone. I know my last entry was really short and nonsensical so I hope this one is an improvement and proves sufficient...I'm not sure why I even care much since the only person who comments is my friend Keri. Thats not fishing for comments by the way, alright maybe I am I just think it's a but rude to peruse someones life effectively and then buggering off without comment...hmph



I'm not sure whether or not I'm liking life at the moment. Sure its been absolutely fantastic with parties and time to just sit and do absolutely nothing productive but it's starting to get at me now. I feel completely useless! I don't officially start work until early August so don't scream "get a job a*****e" at me. So far I've filled the days with reading (Why are books so short?! argh), watching Daytime television (just the usual British Garbage "This Morning" and Loose Women) and daydreaming.

To be fair I have ventured out of the house to visit people or go to town but for some reason the gene inside me which screams BUY BUY BUY has vanished and I'm suddenly reluctant to buy anything at all. Gaah! I think I must be ill.


Can someone please explain to me what the hell is going on with the weather these days? This is supposed to be summer right? All day today and for most of the past days its rained for bloody hours! What's with that?! I know a lot of people, particularly Americans, seem to assume it rains here all the ******** time, are we living up to the expected weather or something?

As we're on the subject of stereotypes I had the misfortune of chatting with quite possibly the most annoying person the other day. This guy PM'ed me after he'd browsed my profile and started with: "Hey so your British right? Ever met the queen?", I swear I wanted to hunt him down and beat him to death with a very large stick. JUST BECAUSE I AM BRITISH DOES NOT MEAN I'VE MET OUR MONARCH! NEITHER DO I TAKE AFTERNOON TEA OR PLAY CROQUET! KINDLY GET OUT OF YOUR 1920'S OUTLOOK ON BRITAIN!...sorry about that. I just can't stand people who make there little assumptions about British people. I find it bad enough when I'm away somewhere and people ask were I'm from and I tell them Liverpool they do their funny har har hide the car keys and wallet. Not all people from this city are going to mug you jeeeeeeez!

I think I've successfully turned this into a rant haven't I? Do any of you...that is those of you who read this...have any stereotypes thrown at them because of where they live? I'm interested to know. Comment wink


Well tomorrow my friend Keri whom you may or may not know as Holyangel (of course Keri you know yourself so ignore that haha), is rescuing me and we're off for a trip to town to purchase birthday gifts. It'd better not rain or I'll be thoroughly unimpressed. Being rather cool she's also promised to pass along all those pictures from the leavers ball so my next entry should I imagine be filled with lots of pictures yaaaay!

I think I'll leave this here then. I've tried and failed at writing a novels equivalent but I just can't find the things to say. Until tomorrow adieu and thanks for reading.
