Oct 3rd 2007 - University etc
My my its been quite a substantial amount of time since I actually bothered to look at this thing let alone write in it! Shall we begin again? I think we'll have to because it'd take most of my life to update from the previous.
I've no idea were I left the story (of my life that is) so to speak....so whats happening right now? I've finally started University, either this will come as a surprise to those who bother to read this or perhaps not...I'll likely be talking in riddles through most of this, it has been awhile since I've had to use any brain matter!
So back to University. I'm doing History, plain and simple no silly little minors to get in the way just that. I had my first ever lecture (the first of my life in fact!) yesterday and found it surprisingly pleasant. Don't get me wrong I didn't expect the subject matter or anything to be boring, I'd just expected the lecture to be a lot more...its difficult to explain...formal perhaps. Theres literally hundreds of us doing history so of course at first there weren't enough seats for everyone. Clever Lee was naturally clever enough to be chatting away to the lecturer at the door the minute we could go in and had no problem securing a seat but enough about chairs. ..
Today was my first seminar. Again thoroughly enjoyable. I was surprised at how much I actually got involved to be honest. Usually I tend to hide my head when it comes to situations involving me speaking to people I don't know but today I didn't! I'm so proud of myself (in a non arrogant sort of way obviously!). Today I argued points with strangers (Including the lecturer I might add! The cheeky bugger with his trick question) and actually made more what hopefully will become new friends! How unlike me is that?!
Anyway I'll check in now and then...providing I get the time/effort etc
