Word to the wise:
Delaware. Sucks.
The beaches:
Suck.
The Boardwalks:
Suck.
The People:
REALLY suck.
* Too many preps looking at me funny for wearing a sweatshirt even though it's a warm night.
* Too many girls who look amazing in their swimsuits, with boyfriends who are ultra-hot.
* Too many insults and punches from my step-brother.
* Too many times I've been pushed nearly to tears by him.
* Too many times my whole family laughed when he told me that I would end up alone, or that no one could ever love something as desgusting as me.
* Too many fat people getting mad that I don't gorge myself to the point of explosion "but we made food, so why aren't you EATING it?"
* Too many times I've sat bored in the sun, wishing my friends were with me.
* Too many times, I worried about my weight, because everyone seemed to notice how much larger I was.
* Too many times I just wanted to be all alone with my computer to write poety, but found critical eyes watching the screen.
* Too many times I wanted to see my friends, to just be alone, and to just be wanted. All I wanted was for my new family to like me, and all I have to show is a few bruises from Scott, a few insults from Michelle, a few "what math are you in again"s from Mark, and a few "wow, that's quite a belly you're working on"'s from my mom.
******** Delaware.
And I only wanted to see the Ripley's museum...but...Michelle DESPERATELY needed a new pair of siulver flip-flops from Old Navy, and admission was five whole whopping dollars.
