A couple weeks ago, I found out, that my mom had reconnected DSL internet a few months after I had left, and I remember always being on the internet 24/7. Those were good times. Now my sister gets to have it all, sweatdrop . Meh, she deserves it I guess, lol, I kicked her off all the time.
Also, my sister got her liscense while I am stuck here in the Air Force. I always drove her around cuz she didn't have a liscense.
My mom got a job driving back and forth from home to Chicago during the week and I guess she's pulling in some money to help pay for the house and stuff. I'm glad she's doing well.
My dad is playing a lot of Halo PC on the net now and is waiting for me to get my laptop so I can play with him, lol. I can't wait either. He recently sent me my Basic Training graduation video and the one he taped. Along with the Renaissance Festival he taped. Can't wait to see them. He's doing very well also, and I'm glad of that too.
My grandma sent me some of her 'Best in the World' Carmel Corn, oh man, I can't wait to get it. Cause she sends bags full of it. She's a grandma who cares and kicks a lot of butt!
My other grandma has a computer at home now and the internet. So now my grandpa is always playing poker or looking up dirty things on the net, lol. My grandma sends me e-mails all the time of jokes and stuff. They've been doing great for a long time now. I'm happy for them.
One of my friend's back home is getting a breakthrough with his band career. He's currently drumming for a band that is saving up to get a demo out, and they did well in a battle-of-the-bands contest back home. He used to drum for our first band together with Zak on guitar, Cody(Chief) on bass, and me on vocals. Those were good times, good times. Eric tells me he is really kick a** on drums now, and I believe it. That's his passion in life. I can't wait to get back and hear them. I'm jealous I had to leave that life and now they're hitting it off. Good for them, I hope they go far!
The friends that I used to play Dungeons and Dragons with still plays occasionally now, but they recently told me I need to get World of Warcraft to play with them. I can't wait till next month to get it, with my laptop! It'll be good to RP with them again.
All in all, everyone back home seems to be doing really, really well. They're kicking a** in their own way. And I'm getting my a** treated like a baby here in tech. school. At least I started class so that I don't have to endure this for too long. sweatdrop
