Alright, so I was in class and having a very boring day as usual. Learning easy stuff about Sine Waves and Complex Waveforms that are sent out by RADAR. Well, we had just gotten back for our really long breaks and there started a big discussion with our instructor about youth today. All was a normal conversation until the instructor noted to the class that society is circling the drain and we are eventually going to drown in our own waste and stupidity. I was absolutely stunned. "********' s**t, there really was someone around who thought the same way as me." I said in my head as she went on. Then, the class started joining in. The Tech. Sergeant (that's a chevron of 5 stripes) that sits behind me started going on about how previous societies fell. He stated that the more liberal thier government became, the closer to destruction they became. Now, I detest politics in any way, shape or form, but then he gave examples. Such as the Romans, the Greeks, and others. I was actually starting to get happy inside. After the discussion about how society sucked, they started on the punishment system we have. The two Tech. Sergeants in my class really got into this subject. They felt that just sending someone to prison wasn't enough. I mean, they get to sit there all day, watch t.v. and get 3 meals a day. There's people on the streets who have done nothing wrong and are suffering worse than they are. The younger tech. sergeant proposed that instead of the government losing money on locking up inmates, to give them to the families they hurt, like sell them to the family to beat the s**t out of them or however they think they should get revenge. The older T. Sergeant proposed that instead of sitting there in prison, they should be put to hard labor all day, so there won't be any gang fights, or attempted escapes. They'd be too tired to try. I completely agree with both. Screw the amendment that protects you from cruel and unusual punishment. They are criminals, they couldn't handle the responsibilities of freedoms they were given, they shouldn't be allowed to have any rights. Kick their asses, kill them, they don't deserve to live if they can't respect anything.
Again, this is just mine, and others' views on things.
