Fantastic! We found dresses for the girls! I'm rather excited, to say the least. Only one bridesmaid went with us this time, but she was the perfect model. We found a gown that costs about $150.00, which means it will be marked to $100.00 for each girl after I donate my $50.00 as promised. It is a clover color, just as I wanted, and has a fairly simple front. The dress is strapless and has this beautiful little tie in the back where it criss crosses. I think it's perfect for each girl as it will flatter each of their different sizes.
My older sister, the maid of honor, will still be slightly different from the other girls. You see, she can't wear strapless dresses. They fall right off of her! Not to say she has not chest, because I assure you she does, but her frame simply does not allow her to hold up a dress on her own. We are going to add straps to her dress and give her a shawl or cover of some sort over her shoulders. She'll be more comfortable, and she'll stand apart just slightly from the other bridesmaids while still wearing a matching dress.
I purchased some adorable little purses for each girl as well.
We also picked up my wedding gown. I'm so relieved that they ordered the correct one this time! It's such a beautiful gown... I love it.
We bought some shoes to go with it that, according to my sisters, make me look like I have Playboy Bunny legs xd I got a huge kick out of that. And if I like after the wedding the bridal shop will dye them for free so I can wear them with whatever. I may just keep them white, however.
Dad also purchased my veils! My mom and older sister were going to make them... I found some I really liked though and dad ignored the price and bought them for me!
The Cathedral length veil was $99.00, the Finger Tip length was $69.00, and the Blush veil was $20.00. Fortunately we received a fifteen percent discount for having a credit card with the company and purchasing my gown and bridal party stuff there. I think the prices on the veils is still absurd... But I'm so glad we got them. They are beautiful! The hair piece, however, we will definately be making.
So Philip left town again this morning so he could work at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival. Next weekend will be his last as the season is coming to an end. I'm relieved that he'll be home more often, but I'm a little sad because it's so fun to see him up there and I know that he really enjoys it. Ah well, there is always next time. Plus, come October, we'll both be working the haunts. I'm going to work for Phil's good friend James and Barry, I think, and Phil is going to work for his current boss, Allen, I think. I wish he would work with me, but ah well.
Wow, this has become long enough though. I've got some chores to do and then it's off to get ready for work! I'd rather just miss out on work today but I know I can't afford it. Oh well.
Take care.

I tend to rant in any journals, and I might either post obsessively or not at all. It's just me.
