Biggest news 'round these parts is that Gaia was raided as a result of another site trying to "win" a fight over the internet.

Really, how lame is that?

So the details are:

-4chan (related to raiding site) creates a meme
-Subeta (another site) creates meme in the form of an item
-420chan (raiding site) gets amazingly pissed over this
-Subeta admin gives 420chan a list of all passwords/usernames to their accounts. THEY DO NOT TAKE DOWN THE MEME ITEM.
-420chan raids them. Porn, gore, trolls are everywhere.
-420chan comes with the idea that some people from Subeta are on Gaia with the same username and password.
-420chan raids Gaia.
-420chan then proceeds to move onto other popular sites. MySpace, Neopets, eBay, AOL, Yahoo!...

This goes on over the course of about 24hrs.

Why didn't the admin remove the item? Because he wanted to "win" a "war" with 420/4chan. So not only does he mess up his own site but he creates a chain-reaction with about 10-15 different sites.

It's ridiculous. Sheer idiocy with many people.

-the admin for giving away the information PLUS being stubborn enough not to take down the item.
-420chan for being immature enough to "raid" other sites PLUS tamper with personal information and perform other illegal activities.
-People in general for using the same username and/or password for many, many sites.

It's just...stupid. Really people. Really.

So state testing continued and finished this week at my school. I continued to watch movies and do whatnot all week. Fun at first but then it gets boring, like you actually want to do something.

I lost my snake for (roughly) 24hrs. It was funny. I took it out Wednesday night to show it to some people over at the house and, when I went to put it away in it's tank, I forgot to put the screen on top. So I'm off and doing stuff when I get a call that the snake is out and loose in the house. I'm also told that my uncle is severely freaked out (it's in my room, which he sleeps in while I take my brother's room while he's gone) and has left for a friend's house for the night. Because he doesn't want to wake up with a snake next to his face.

So I'm looking for it everywhere on the floor. In between boxes, behind bookshelves, under dressers and beds, everywhere. And we can't find the stupid snake. So I figure that, if anything, the dogs and cat will find it if we can't. So it's the next day when my dad informs me that he found it. Where?

Under the pillow on my uncle's bed.

That was funny. I laughed at the irony and potential trouble it would've caused if my uncle had stayed home.

A new set of Magic cards were released on Friday, so a friend and I went and picked up a box. We got some good stuff and it was fun and everything. Spent a lot of money, though. x_x;

Prom is coming up this Saturday. I went and chose a tux for the occasion on Friday. I cried when I saw that it was $151 for the rental. I cashed in my last paychecks from two month's ago not even an hour before renting the tux. It just killed a small part of me. But hopefully I'll look sharp. Pics next week for sure.
