Whatever's on my mind or what I feel like sharing at the moment, ha ha.

YUP, IT'S THE NEWEST VERSION OF THE NINTENDO DS!

I heard about it from the electronics clerk guy at Walmart (I'm sure it's safe to say the place, because almost every town has one of 'em xD) when my youngest brother, my mom and I went there to get him a new DS because he's had his plain white one since 2007, or something.

(Breaking away from the story for a moment: Let me explain why I think him getting a new DS is completely bogus. Remember the pink one I had in seventh grade? Well, even after he got his white one, the little bugger still wanted to play mine. WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. So yeah the little -insert mean but accurate word here- dropped mine on the floor and DEMOLISHED it. And what did I get for it? Not a damn thing! But just because his is old he gets a NEW one? WADDAFXUP?!)

Anyway, the clerk guy was nice enough to tell us that there's a new version of the DS coming out April 5th (reservations at GameStop are currently being offered), and there are definitely some new perks to it! The sad part is that one of my favorites is being taken away. You won't be able to play Gameboy Advance games on the DSi, but there is a pretty good explanation for why. They needed to make room for more awesome stuff!

Take the new camera for example! Yes folks, the DSi has a built in camera on the cover and on the inside! And if I remember right, the Gameboy cartridge space is being replaced for memory cards and stuff for your computer so you can use the new DS as a digital camera! Pretty fly, pretty fly. And you can also use it as an MP3/MP4/iPod (YOU GET THE POINT), but how I don't quite remember. This was two weeks ago and this is the first time I've had enough time to type this up!

It's 12% thinner too, according to the little research I've done to follow up on the clerk guy's statements. But even though it's thinner, it should be more durable than the original DS and DS Lite. OH AND BUILT-IN INTERNET ACCESS. For roughly $170.00, you can purchase it in black and blue on April 5th, 2009.

YAY FOR BLUE! I want to get one too, so hopefully I can get that. OH DAMN. I JUST REALIZED THAT'S ON THE SAME NIGHT AS WRESTLEMANIA. =O -WWE stuff, yo- Anyway, it should be pretty darn awesome!

With love,
Autumn. =D
