WOO. HIGH SCHOOL.
... Except not really. That's how I felt during the first semester, people. Wanna know why? Well, I started fakign sick the first couple of weeks so I wouldn't have to go to Journalism (haaated the class, but finally dropped it), and when I got back, I was getting crappy grades in my other classes. Easy to say I just gave up, you know? For the first time ever. So I ended up failing Integrated I and Earth Science. But it's okay this semester, I have different teachers, and they're AWESOME.
And I traded my baby blue Pizzaz dress in for a sparkly black Encore one! Mainly because they only offer Pizzaz at Miller, but oh well. Encore is a show choir made up of only ninth and tenth grade girls (all boys are in South Side Transit with the junior and senior girls), and our songs are pretty fly, if I do say so myself. Here Comes the Sun (Yes, the one by the Beatles!), Blue Skies, Stormy Weather, and It's Rainin' Men. Yup, Mrs. Ose went with a weather theme this year!
GOODBYE FORMER FRIEND, HELLO NEW ONE.
Normally, I'm not one to be all "Okay you pissed me off, we're not friends anymore," but this takes it to new levels. And I know that this may sound silly (I even think it sounds like it a bit), but it hurt more than you could ever imagine. Okay, so it went a little something like this. Rosie basically told me that she and Jake (the person I... you know, dated for over a year) were going to Homecoming together. She was supposed to be my best friend, you know? The worst part was that we promised not to do anything stupid like that because we both knew something like that would happen.
And Megan E. had been my best friend for quite some time before this, but it really shouldn't have been done. It's okay though, because Megan's the sheeeeeit. I love this girly to death, and I wish she was mah sister. That would be one fun house!
UH OH.
Okay, so I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing (I really don't think it is, but some people see it differently), but Jake and I are friends again. -shrugs- We were friends for over a year before we started going out anyway, and we were always super tight. But we're getting to the point where we have inside jokes again, which is awesome because those are one of the best kinds. =D
OUR HOGWARTS!
The site that I could not LIVE without. (Gaia's one of 'em too so don't freak out!) I've met so many new friends on there that it's insane. Renn, Justin, Emma, DJ, Erika, Eunice... and that's just starting! The site's a roleplaying site loosely based on Harry Potter, and everybody on there is so nice and understanding! I have friends from all over the globe now! It makes me happy!
UPPERCLASSMEN FRIENDS! YAY!
The upperclassmen at MHS are freakin' awesome! My uncle (who's only three years older than me) is a Junior, so he was the first one I knew there. But now I knew tons! Colleen, Nicci, Jessie, Dan, Laura, Ryan, Tyler, Tyrone, Dylan, Taylor, and many more!
I have a bunch of Sophomore friends too, but they're not classified as upperclassmen until next year. -snickers- Lexi, Allison, Anna, Becca, Matt, Krysta, Leslie... well, maybe seven isn't exactly a large amount, but I'm proud of it either way! WOO!
That's all I can think of right now, folks! I'll try and come back whenever I can! =D
