Frustration
By: Alexandrea Ozoria
Frustration is a frightening shade of scarlet red.
The color I see in your eyes, which is no surprise.
It smells like a thick, black smog, suffocating your senses. Clouding your ability to think clearly, of course thinking isn’t permitted to us all…
It tastes like the bitterest of berries before season, leaving a taste that is
so foul that it lasts for hours to come. Much after the berry is done…
It sounds like sharp nails scraping away on a chalkboard, so agonizing and painful it‘s wonder that you haven‘t gone Van Gogh (I refer to the ear part.) And the motives are far from the sake of art…
It feels like a you’re ripping your hair out, lock through aching lock!
And for some reason you can’t seem to stop…
It looks your trapped in a room and there is no way out!
Leave no options but to scream and shout.
Frustration is the feeling of helplessness and stress.
Needless to say it’s a feeling you detest.
Frustration is a little fly, buzzing and buzzing around your head that you just can’t swat! Despite your strong will, it will not stop.
So how can get through this mess…
Might I suggest you start by taking a deep breath.
