When fine music is found, it has a tendency to calm the mind and soul. I find such is the case this evening with the band known as Nightwish. They offer an exquisite blend called 'symphonic metal', a fusion of dark lyrics mixed with the sounds customary to metal: electric guitar, drums, bass, etc. as well as beautifully orchestrated classical instruments. If you have not already, I highly recommend that you listen to a few of their songs. The lyrics are unique and paint vivid pictures in the mind while embracing you with intricate melodies.
