It has been getting subsequently harder to sleep these past few nights. I lie in bed against the crimson sheets only to stare up at the darkness as it flows never ending through the air. No matter what I try, be it light reading, soft music, or some hot tea, it never helps. Oddly enough, I find it comforting to write. Solace is often found in simple things like this that we end up taking lightly. It seems to be the beginnings of another cold day. I shall most likely keep sheltered in my home until the weather improves, though there are always things that must be done regardless.
