"Tobias. There is no world where I wouldn't forgive you. I'm just thankful that you are safe." She smiled softly as she finally relaxed, as the last of her tears fell and she softly touched his cheek.
His eyes caught her off guard, but she wasn't frightened by them as most would be. He had changed, he wasn't exactly who he had been when he left and if she had expected him to be she would have been lying to herself. Reaching up, she gentle placed her own hand over his own, closing her eyes.
"Now, lets go sit down. My legs are sore and we have plenty to catch up on. That is, if you are ready to talk." Joie smiled and opened her eyes, dropping the hand that was touching his cheek and taking his hand in her own. All the love and kindness she had ever shown him was there, as though it had never once left, not even for a day in his absence.
