With the world beating at my doorstep,
I find a way to creep into bed,
With hope behind the door,
My eyes start to close,
My body laid to rest,
My fate ceasing to exist,
In the hearts of many my eyes will lie,
In the dreams of many my spirit will fly,
With my destiny short my parents will cry,
With the leaves falling to frozen ground,
The snow will wash away all sins that still remain,
The crowd weeps at the sounds of my name,
The heavens break free with cries of unholy damnation,
The angels sing their sad song of efforts lost,
Of souls gone missing,
Of love that has no cause,
They come to take me away,
To the father and the son,
My spirit has broken free,
So young, so young the people cry,
So beautiful, so kind,
She was so wonderful, so wonderful,
I watch their faces change,
No memories lost, no more to gain,
As I hover above enveloped by an angel’s wings,
He whisper’s to me that some things never change,
My soul has long gone away,
My eyes have not shed a tear,
Until he comes running threw the church doors,
His fitted black clothes suit him well,

As he runs to the alter,
To the casket
To the flowers,

He’s crying now,
No not her,

Not in her dress, Not with her hair shinning in the light,
Not looking so alive,
She was mine, She was mine,
The angel holds me close,
When I realize that he never got the chance to tell me that
I was beautiful,
That I was kind,
That I was his and he was mine,
He cries at the casket,
So near, So near he is to me,
While I shed black tears,
Staining my clothes,
Staining his eyes,
You can only live so long,
It was my time,
I’ll only be happy if you stay alive,
But it’s too late for him,
So near for him, so lost for him,
He gave himself away,
As the people shouted and screamed,
He took his place,
made his stand,
Pulled it from his pocket,
And pleaded for my eyes to open again,
When a voice rang down from heaven,
The angels above rejoiced at the sound of my voice,
The voice shook when I realized that it was mine,
I took his hand,
No longer bound by the laws of eternity,
His hand so warm in mine,
When I held him close
The earth’s commandments began to falter at my feet,
I was his angel,
Forever and always a part of him,
I was his guide,
God’s voice rang from the heavens above,
His power over mine, I knew,
He laid him to rest in my arms,
He fell to his knees,
God took him away from his damaging state of mind,
From his pain from the world he loathed,
We’ll be angles together,
Under the angel Raphael we’ll speak the truth,
Into hell we will not go,
Forever and always lost in my mind,
You’ll see this somehow,
You’ll be mine, from the beginning till the end,
You’ll fall threw me,
So near, so near,
We’ll fall threw time,
We’ll live forever with skies that wide.
