I had a dream last night,
As I lie in my silky covers,
That a pleasant woman with rosy cheeks
covered my wounds with kisses and chocolate.
She closed my eyes and closed my mouth
as warm, cozy, silken sweet, cocooned me like a butterfly
Peaceful breath as my heart gave out
I hardly felt the needle p***k as honey ran through my veins
I felt so warm and peaceful there, as my family smiled down
Loving tears of happiness, instead of those of pain.
A final breath as I smile one last time
Blonde lashes close forever as I sigh with relief,
it's over now, and I'm happy that I'm off to a better place
It's only me now, the most pleasant company,
And I was almost sorry when I woke up in the morning.
I had a nightmare lat night,
as I lie in my itchy cot,
That a devious madman with a curdling smile,
Doused alcohol and vinegar into my open wounds
He pinned open my eyes and wrenched open my mouth
As stinging, sharp, agonizing heat made my skin start to crawl,
Stifled sharp breath as my heart gave out
The needle felt ten inches long, covered in poison into my veins
I felt so afraid and hopeless there, as no one came to save me,
Alone, now, just me and the monster, and his yellow, steel-smile
A sharp breath assailed my lungs with poison air as I wept a final time
Night-black lashes close as I scream through my sewn-up mouth,
It's over now and no one even came to say goodbye
It's just me now, embalmed in formaldehyde,
And I know I'm
Never
Going
To
Wake
Up
