Custody (True Story)
Forced against my will to come,
Then they start fight,
Just like they do every time,
All ******** day and night.
I run downstairs,
Turn off the lights
But nobody cares
I’m crying my eyes out.
Tears stain my face red,
I scream as I cry
But I’m never suicidal
I don’t want to die.
I step cautiously from the stairs.
There’s no sound.
Then I hear my mother’s voice,
And I fall to the ground.
He told her we weren’t going fishing,
She must’ve forgot,
She waited for him hours,
She though we were hurt but we’re not.
We went swimming,
He forgot his phone,
She’s thoroughly pissed
I can tell by her tone.
Then she says some things,
“Next time you make me think my kids are lost to me,
I’m going to file for full…
…custody.”
