Quite a bit happened this week.

So my brother was scheduled to leave the Missionary Training Center on Monday in the morning for Uruguay. As such, there was a decent chance that he would call. Were it not for the fact that I had a huge English project due, I likely would've stayed home to take the phone call with my parents. I wrote my brother telling him I'd be in school and use the best excuse I had to take his phone call (that being that my brother is dying and I was put as a contact in case something drastic should happen). So I'm sitting in class, wondering if I would get the phone call or not when I got a text message from my dad wanting to know if I could call my brother. We're watching a movie, so I text back that I could and about 10min. later I'm outside on the phone with my brother.

Needless to say it was good talking to him again after about 60 days. I knew I couldn't talk to him for too much as there was only about 15min. in class plus seven more for the passing period so I said what I needed to and told him we'd talk more on Mother's Day.

So the rest of the week we're wondering when we'll get his e-mail, which we got Wednesday. So now I can e-mail him a lot, which is really cool because I can rant to him and all that other good stuff.

I've just been busy in general this past week. I was doing a bunch of English journal things that were due the 30th, then all last weekend I was working on a power-point for English, then all this past week I was working on a project that was due Thursday for Econ. Feels nice to have a few days off but now I have to get back onto my Senior Project. D: The whole portfolio is due next Thursday, the 19th, so I'm working on the actual project this week then the portfolio next week. Then after that is the work on the presentation, which are taking place the third to last week of school. Then it's Senior Finals in the second to last week of school then graduation practice plus graduation the final week. So it's finally ending.

I went to a Grad Night meeting on Friday. Looks pretty interesting. It's at Disneyland again this year, which is pretty cool because the school was banned from Disneyland Grad Nights for a few years due to one problem or another. Most likely drugs or drinking or tagging or something of that sort.
