SLEEP
She sat down by her bed,
with a knife in her hand,
and a smile upon her face.
The tears rolling down,
and the questions that come,
no answer is ever found.
No more kisses good night.
No more laughing out loud.
No more staring at him in the dark.
No more hugs for the kids,
and only pain for a friend.
Oh why did he have to go?
She wishes that time,
and the thoughts in her mind,
would never more proceed,
and he would come back,
and kids would be free,
and there would be an end to this missery.
Tell me, why did he go?
Did he have to die?
Was there any other way?
And now shes all alone,
and no one knows why.
So she holds the knife to her viens!
See the child looking on,
curld in her bed,
with a razor around her neck,
to remind her that life isn't fare,
and not all of its questions have answers.
So she crys herself to sleep...
falls asleep...
sleep...
