My Own Anger Filled World

I wake up in a nightmare
Filled with hatred that
Hides deep within my heart
Where I try to keep it locked up tight

But it breaks free from its bonds
And takes over and I am left
A raging creature filled with
Unhuman growls and anger-filled roars

No one can stop it once it starts
All you can hope for is a chance to flee
Before I tear down all your barriers and
Get up and personal in your face

With my rage that is a roaring fire
I hurt without remorse until the end
But that's not me speaking
It's the anger-filled world within me

It takes nothing to set off a spark
Then it grows into a roaring blaze
And I turn into a monster with no bounds
With my inhuman sounds raging from my throat

Many times I've tried to grab a hold of the beast
Before it destroys so much more than I plan
It has a mind of its own and I can't hold it back
That is my anger-filled world

Destroying shredding tearing
With deadly claws and jagged fangs
Flesh turns into streaks as blood streams
From the deep wounds I cause in your heart
By accident and by purpose of the beast

I need to escape this
I need a way out
I need someone to show me the way
Out of this horrible world I was born into
Like a raging wolf who's had enough
A lion who can't stand anymore

A shark ready to tear free and
Take on the world with viscious speed
And terrible fire that rages in its heart
As it hunts you down

It follows the sent of pain
It causes more without care
This isn't me it's the beast
That lives within us all
Waiting to be awaken

For its fire is growing
And burning with each second
It lays dormant within your heart
