"Don't worry baby, your daddy will get us, hopefully." she cooed to her baby.
Baron was getting very frustrated as he passed by a river filled with yellow and blood red blossoms. As he walked along, he looked at the bright blue water. But instead of seeing his reflection he saw Aurora looking at him. He stared at the water in shock but his heart ached in happiness to see her. The reflection sat at a table smiling while brushing her hair.
Suddenly words appeared and her face vanished as they began to form. The words formed into: Please save me Baron. I only have four more months before I have to marry him.
The words eventually vanished leaving Baron very frustrated and confused by the words. What did she mean by she only has four months before they married? he wondered as that puzzled him like hell. He wished that she was in his arms again. He turned around and headed back to where Armadeo and David were waiting.
He finally found them sitting by a lava-filled hole. David looked up sharply as his green eyes sparkled in delight. Armadeo looked over at him but didn't say a word. Baron simply shrugged for he knew that he didn't want to be here. So far he either whined, complained, or stayed silent through the whole trip.
In truth Armadeo only complained because he was very worried about Aurora and the longer it took the more danger she was in. He wondered what was happening to her right now. He kept wishing that Aurora was safely home with him though of course not as his.
"Come on let's get going." Baron said and the other two got up and started to walk along with him as they came closer to a portal that was always there.
Aurora sat at the window and looked at the forest that surrounded them. She sighed sadly as she stroked her belly softly. I wish I was home. she looked at the artificial sky and watched as several dragons flew by. They reminded her of the painting in Baron's bedroom and it made her heart cry in sadness as she watched them fly through the sky, dipping, swerving, and gliding through the dimming light.
She felt like a fat duck as she walked though that was her only problem with having a child within her and she thought that it was purposely making her big as a house.
"My dear look at you!" Satan appeared, "you are coming along quite well." he kissed her cheek and laid his head on her shoulder.
She looked at him as her eyes pleaded for freedom. She whispered some incoherent words as he stayed near her. He held her close to him from behind.
"I love you Aurora. And I'll take care of you and the child." he kissed her cheek then continued, "I know you don't love me and in fact I am quite jealous of him. He got to take your virginity and now you're pregnant with his child." he sighed softly and kissed her on the lips.
She sensed the pain and loneliness hidden in his kiss. She kissed him back just to ease the pain he carried.
"Can I please go home?" her voice trembled as sobs rose and caught in her throat.
"No you can not." he replied.
"Why not?!" she demanded as the sobs in her voice vanished and were replaced by an impatient anger.
"Because you aren't fit to travel in your delicate condition plus Baron may kill the child before you can give birth since he always wants your attention on him." he gave her a sad look.
She stared at him neutrally then shouted, "You're lying! Baron would never harm his own child. You and Armadeo are the same with trying to paint him to be a monster!" tears of hurt anger filled her eyes and splashed down her cheeks.
She couldn't take the confusion and the lies anymore. She pushed past him and ran out the door. She fled down the hallway as she heard him pursue her as she flew down the stairway wondering why there were so many stairs to climb. She exited through the front door slamming it shut on Satan's face.
Soon she reached a line of tightly closed in trees and collapsed onto her knees unable to move further. She panted heavily then froze as she heard voices and footsteps coming towards her. She was too exhausted from her wild flight to move anywhere at the moment. She thought she recognized the pattern of one set of the footfalls.
