Thank you all for tuning in today for Breaking Comments. When I was speaking with a good friend of mine the other day he seemed really interested in what I was saying, that is, until one little four letter word slipped from my mouth. What word you ask? "********". He jumped from his chair and ran into to the other room to check if he was the only person to hear my foul language. He acted as if by just hearing the word I had just used, the devil homself was going to pop in and devour his soul.
This brought a few questions to mind. "What exactly defines this word as foul language?" "Why do some people think less of people who use this word?" "Would they hate William Shakespear if her were to use this type of language?" I should surely hope not.
But as I was saying before my mind started wandering. What should be done if this friend just chooses to be so "innocent" as to not want me to speak in such a blasphemous way?
