I am bisexual. I do not like gay pride. I personally don't understand why you should have a flag for a sexual orientation. It's ridiculous. Okay, so gay people are opressed and all that. I know. I'm bi. But it is my personal opinion, that gay pride is not going to help anything. In my opinion, it just looks stupid and it makes other gay people look stupid too. The rainbow only furthers the stereotype of girly gays, doesn't it? Is that what you really want? And about the gay pride parades: (not saying all gay pride people like the parades or anything) And WHY the ******** would you want to have a PARADE because of your sexual orientation? It makes you look riduculous, and it isn't certainly isn't improving anyone's opinions of you. Sexual orientation is just another thing about you. Like height, weight, etc ... so why should you be proud of it?

I personally believe that gay pride parades are wonderful. It's a wonderful way to make the people in the area see that we aren't always as bad as they think we are. Just think about it. What is the best way you can get others to notice you? Run up and down the road, stopping traffic. I went to the latest Wichita Gay Pride Parade and it was loads of fun. Yes, the parade was pretty cool. But the best part was the Gay Pride Festival that happened afterwards. So pretty much all I can say in retaliation to your post is this. You have your oppinions and others have theirs. Don't bash on others because you aren't open to their oppinions.
