The Day the Snow Fell
The day the snow fell down,
Left nothing with a frown,
A joyous song it sang,
The day when winter came.
The day when snow sat still,
On every tree and hill,
That glistened as the sun rose,
The day my heart froze.
And when the night came,
Alone I was again,
Free yet full of sorrow,
For another lonely tomorrow.
The day the snow fell down,
Left nothing with a frown,
A joyous song it sang,
The day when winter came.
The day when snow sat still,
On every tree and hill,
That glistened as the sun rose,
The day my heart froze.
And when the night came,
Alone I was again,
Free yet full of sorrow,
For another lonely tomorrow.
A poem I just wrote, I'll probably submit it into the literary magazine at my school. Or I'll submit my Mask poem....
