Mask
I try to hide from the bitter Night,
The moon so Bright,
The snow gleaming White.
I stare up into the Sky,
As it starts to Cry,
Wondering why this world must hold so much Pain.
I lock myself Away,
In my room each Day,
Never to make a Sound.
When eventually I Come,
Out like the Sun,
A mask that covers my Frown.
And with this Disguise,
I seem to Rise,
As high as one possibly could Be,
When in reality I fall Down,
Along with my Frown,
To repeat the cycle once More.
