Light Yagami, a straight a now collage student, picks up a "Death note" dropped by the shinigami, Ryuk.
Light first tests its powers and is shocked. Light eventually decides to purge the world of evil.
but because he holds the "Death Note" he has no friends other than his girlfriend Misa Amane, a part time model who would do anything to help him.
for he killed the man who killed her family right in front of her eyes.
he uses an alias to protect himself....he is known as kira.
personality:he looks at his Deathnote as a curse, many demons have tried to steal it for power and one demon went as far as to kill his love, Misa.
Light now searches for that demon, since now making the eye trade and unlocking the true power of the deathnote. Now being able to transform in a dark Knight of old times, with extrordanary powers.

rules of the death note
1.name must be written within 40 seconds. the full name, first, middle and last
2.writer must know the name and face of the person he is going to kill or nothing will happen. Only the true owner of the deathnote can write in it.
3.way of death and time of death can be specififed within of 6 minutes of writting the name.
4.if no reason of death is written the victim will die of a heart attack.
5.if the owner of the death note has made the eye trade and has gained the eyes of the shinigami he can see the persons name and life span just by seeing the persons face ,but he cannot see his own lifespan.
6.once you are the owner of the DeathNote you cant get rid of it unless you die.
7.the amount of pages in the DeathNote will never end.
8. if the DeathNote is destroied then all memories you have gained while in ownership will dissappear.
9.by using the power of the amulet of the DeathNote the user can be transformed for a short time into a dark knight, all cuts and damage substaned in this state will be carried on when you return to your normal form.
10.no matter , even if the deathnotes power is used for pure good by the owner, the owerner is doomed to be sent to hell when he dies.
