Nobody's Home by Avril Lavigne

The next morning, Sharkey woke to find herself in the blacksmith shop. "Oh! Right!" She scrambled to her feet and ran out into the streets. A short distance away, she noticed Commodore Norrington and Governer Swann having a conference with a few others. It seemed that the blacksmith's apprentice, Will Turner, was getting involved as well. "Oh, Lord," she muttered, "he's just going to make it worse..."

And sure enough, he slammed his hatchet into the table, right in the middle of the map and yelled, "THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"

The commodore pulled the hatchet out of the table and said something to Will that Sharkey couldn't hear. After a few more minutes, Will began to walk away, but Sharkey walked up to him.

"Hiya, Will!" she said pleasantly. He didn't answer. "What's wrong?" she asked.

"Miss Swann has been kidnapped."

"Ohhh... why don't you go talk to that pirate they arrested the other day? He could help..."

Will stopped looking and looked at Sharkey in an annoyed sort of way. "I already suggested that, all right? Commodore Norrington said that he was left in his cell by the pirates that came last night, and so he is not their ally." He started walking away, still obviously annoyed.

Sharkey followed. "Will, wait. The Commodore's wrong. Jack knows them!"

"And how would you know?"

"...They threw me in jail yesterday... the wall of my cell was destroyed and I got out..."

"What were you in jail for?"

"Does it really matter?! If you want to save Elizabeth, you have to go talk to Jack."

Will sighed dejectedly, knowing she was right. WHY did she have to be right? She was nineteen, but often acted more like a nine-year-old than a nineteen-year-old. Knowing there was no arguing with her, he began walking in the direction of the jail, Sharkey following him.
