Just as I'm about to head in for the night, this happens. A dent in the forest near the border of the deeper forestry. Devonaire's books prove my worries right; someone, or something is trying to break into the clan area. I left to go back home and search through the many archives of books my father has about these things, since his knowledge surpasses any I'll ever achieve in an infinite number of lifetimes.
I did, however, remember one thing: a portal summoned in one area to another is only opened in one specific area. And that can be traced. So that's what I'm back home for... tracing that connection before something horrible happens.
It'd be even better if Dev figured it out before I did. But you never know.
