Dream

silence,
falling from the sky,
the ever present clouds seem to mute,
the sounds,
of evry day life,
the humm of the car,
cracked asphalt underneath,
damp and dark,
from a blanket,
of scattering rain,
the cool glass of the window,
carresed my burning cheek,
as colored objects blurred by,
unrecognizeable to the naked eye,
black blurr,
gray blurr,
white blurr,
green blurr,
brown blurr,
similar,
yet not quite the same,
the world seemed asleep,
on a dreamers day like this,
wind whispering through the trees,
and weaving through the mist,
nothing stirred or made a sound,
no twitter from a bird,
no snap of a twig,
no nothing at all,
could ever be heard,
it seemed to me,
like a diffrent world,
with crystaline drops of rain,
frosting even the smallest thing,
making everything appear delicate,
fragile,
and nearly untouchable,
sighing,
my hot breath clouded the glass,
and the world beyond it,
i lifted a finger,
and traced a small heart in it,
then watched sleepily,
as it gradually,
faded away.
