Within the delicate goblet,
lies a world of wonder,
that only your eyes can see.
It can never be re-created,
It can't ever be remembered.
The light, sparkling water.
Coloured like blood,
and tasting like sweet berries.
As it dances upon your lips,
Dancing the forbidden dance.
Your heart skips a beat,
waiting for that heaven on earth.
It descends to quench your thirst.
But it seeps into your inner soul.
You start to feel feathers lift your feet.
And soft winds glide you around.
The waltz fills with energy.
Colours illuminate the sky,
and feathers sing their jaunty tune.
The music winds faster.
The colours start to blur.
And the feathers unwind from your feet.
You fall to the floor.
The joyful ride now over.
Your love of wine
has given you another headache.
