So today was pretty good, high school and all. This week went by really fast, actually. My grades are staying up there, so academically I'm alright. Socially, I'm building up friendships each day, so I'm good to go. Physically, I... yeah, nevermind that.
My iTunes is currently playing some Hale song called Life Support. Jesse [the Ookami] let me borrow her Hale CD, so I stuck it on iTunes and listen my little heart out. XD It reminds me of the Philippines [obviously], so it's nice. Aside from Hale, I've been blasting Mindless Self Indulgence, Chiodos, Emanuel, and From First to Last on my iPod en route to school. Yeah, I have a thing for screamyscreamyness. I don't know why. XD
What happened this week...?
Alright. Sunday... OHMAN. XD My dad broke the backdoor that was made out of glass with a pratice golf club swing gone wrong. It was in the middle of Iron Chef too. When I broke the news to mom, she wasn't all that cheerful, to say the least. XD And that's all I'm saying. XD;;; When he got a new one on Monday, he and I hauled it around the house. That was pretty hard -- I'm a pretty small person and that door was heavy.
Monday consisted of two tests -- Math and Biology. I did fairly well on them, so I'm good to go.
Tuesday was Reality Check, so I was pretty happy. Reality Check is this youth organization kindofthing that I'm a part of. I'll type what this things says under What is Reality Check?
- Reality Check is a youth-led movement that started three years ago. Our goal is to expose the truth about the tobacco industry and the manipulative practices that they use to target us. We want to reduce the impact of the number one and most preventable cause of death and disease in the country -- tobacco use.
Reality Check is made up of youth from every county in New York State. We want the tobacco companies to know, "if they think that they can keep targeting New York teens without resistance, they need a Reality Check."
Yeah, I have this thing for living out my whole straightedge deal and trying to make a difference in the world, even if only a little one. And besides, Reality Check is government funded and we get free snacks at meetings. 8]
On Wednesday, I forgot the nice-a** poster I made for this poem presentation, so I quickly made a smaller, monochrome replacement for the presentation. We got a 48/50 on it [2 points off for the same thing everyone else got 2 points off for], so I'm alright. Wednesday was also my music-grabbing spree, so that was fun as well. XD;
Thursday morning I talked to the school nurse about Reality Check. I'm really interested in doing the whole Battle of the Bands dealy-o, soyeah.
I also found out that this kinda reallyeffingcute guy is a pothead, soyouknowhowthosekindofthingsgo. *clings to sXe lifestyle* I also spent that afternoon feeling sick. And eating cookies, ohyes. <3
And now for Friday.
Today was good. A friend of mine and I agreed to be twins if there's a twin day. Another friend of mine found out that we share the same [almost exact] taste in music, so that was pretty rad. I also got a Fanta from the vending machines during lunch [usually they're sold out], so I was a happy camper.
I've made enough time after school to get online long enough to blog and chat with friends. That's about it. Sorry Gaia. :[ But the weekend is almost upon us, so I should be able to Gaia a lot on Saturday.
I also plan out on catching up on my [bass] guitar playing and lyric writing. For serious, yo.
Tonight I have a party to go to, which I should be getting ready for now, so I'm out.

blaugh You're like the only person I know that says that anymore.
Geez. It sounds like you've been in happy, happy mode all week. Things seem to have gone exceptionally well for you.
I play bass too. 3nodding Though not so well. I really want a private tutor. Otherwise, I'm afraid my bass will just sit there collecting dust. emo
