The Journal of Faforechao
TGIF for serious, yo.
High school life is made out of hectic and fun. It really is. XD Especially since I'm a freshman and all. Aside from the piling up homework [A graphic organizer is sitting on the desk right beside my elbow as we speak for Geography. It's about Ancient Sumer, a section I have yet to read.], it's been loads of fun.

I'm listening to this band whose drummer is in my homeroom class who I've argued with for about five seconds. Ah, local bands. They're not bad. They're not amazing, but they're not bad.

The people in the school are pretty chill [that's a joke in itself that only I would get]. My friends are simply awesome. And I continue to make a couple more of them. n_n<3

The teachers are pretty cool. My Geography teacher is quite the character. He. Will. Make. You. Laugh. Your. Face. Off. XD It's so great. <3 My Biology teacher looks like Vin Diesel, no lie. My Geometry teacher is really fun and happy... like sunshine! 8] And that's about it for outstanding teachers. For now, anyway.

You never know what to expect. For example, this morning, there were sophomore wheelbarrow races. XD! Of course, the one day I decide to sit on the floor, there's a wheelbarrow race. Haha, it was great. If you're drawing a blank, wheelbarrow races are when one person hold's another person's feet while the person whose feet are being held uses his arms and hands as "legs", so it's like the person holding the other person's legs is using a human wheelbarrow. I yelled "That's effing hilarious!" while some other girl [who happens to have the same name as me] yelled "That's freaking retarded!"

That, my friends, is why I've always been looked at as that weird but strangely smart Asian girl.

I'm also that weird Asian girl who hates homework. DX Therefore, I am procrastinating by blogging. Well, Gaia Journaling. Whatever.

Speaking of Asian-ness, genetics. Genetically, I have the generic almond shaped eyes, plus the black eyelashes that a lot of the freshmen girls use makeup to achieve. A friend of mine actually asked me if I was wearing makeup. I responded with a simple "Nope". I don't have the time in the morning to put on all that eyeliner/eyeshadow/blush/mascara deal. I don't even have my own eyeshadow, blush, or mascara. For reals. I just have foundation and a stick or two of eyeliner. That's what I use on special occasions. XD I have enough time to do all the grooming essentials, eat breakfast, change, and put in contacts. That's about it. My hair is also growing out, but it still doesn't need more than a couple of combs through to get it in the style I want. It's awesome. 8] As for uniform/jewelry, it depends on what I feel like doing.

And yes, uniform. Catholic high school, yo. Not only that, I got a renewable scholarship for 50% of the tuition. Pwned, doode.

Butyeah. High school's been going well. There's just this one little deal in life that has my head going a mile a minute. But, I'm bound to get over it. I'd explain what that little deal is, buuuut... I can't. Not in public like this blog. @_@

I've also kept in touch with a coupla' people from my old school, so I'm still sane. Hopefully, anyway.

For extra curricular activities, I'm doing Reality Check and the Drama Club. Reality Check is this youth organization thing that works to expose the truth about the tobacco industry. We're not against smokers, we're against the tobacco's industry's appeal to children. [Yeah, I'm a good little sXer. XD] As for the Drama Club, we're currently doing a murder mystery written by some comic book nerd. It's so corny, but the read through was effing hilarious, omgeeze. <3 I'm doing backstage and behind the scenes stuff for the play, soyeah. Meanwhile, Knilly is Officer Jenkins, a donut-loving, stressed out cop. And Jesseh's a thug. It's rad. 8]

But, as much as I love school, sleep is always good for me. So is talking to Kuya. Therefore, TGIF. Thank Goodness It's Friday. I don't have to wake up to an alarm tomorrow. I may just get to chat with Kuya. If I don't get to talk with him, that's alright. I'm happy for the fifteen conversations I've had with him since we got back, and that isn't including exchanging e-mails. There's been fifteen YIM convos. XD Yeah, I keep count via numbered saved conversations.

In other news, I'm going to get back to my lyric writing and guitar playing. I took a break in both since we left for the Philippines up until now, but I'm gonna devote myself to them again.

Not only that, but a friend named James inspired me to learn how to do the "spin the guitar over your shoulder" trick. I got the method down using my bookbag like he spontaneously showed me this afternoon. XD Good times, mang.

However, my bass guitar is too big and I'm too small for the trick to work effectively. As far as I know, anyway. I'm just going to play it by year and let my guy instinct take over from now on. Life isn't worth overanalyzing all the time [even if I do it 24/7].

In terms of the internets, I got AIM Triton [it hasn't died on me, but it's weird]. I also have to get back into RPing. I will match/exceed Jacob's RP post. I will. D<

Even if it takes a while.

I'm out.
