This week's been Homecoming week in my school. Every single day has had its ups and downs and lefts and rights and diagonals, but it's been pretty awesome overall. I've stayed after school everyday of the week. XD No life much? Totally, and I don't care. =] There's still Homecoming weekend. Today is the Mass [Catholic high school, yup.] and the soccer games. Last night was the football game. Sunday is the dance. Monday is a day off for Columbus day. And I still have homework. XD

Alright. Weekday recap.

Monday was spent hanging around with a bunch of friends after school. Hanging around in the art room, listening to music, eating, talking, laughing... Yeaaaah. =] I also talked to this guy named Gene [He's cool, but there's drama going on between him and my sister. Pretty lame.] about going to one of his band's shows. He does the whole screamyscreamy deal, and I'm totally in my screamo phase, so you get the picture. Hopefully the drama won't affect me getting to go to the show. I mean like, the whole fight started because of a piece of tinsel and elevated with an exploding lighter. DX

Okay, Tuesday. There was a Reality Check meeting about the projects we're gonna be doing. The snacks were cheese cubes, pepperonis, and brownies. 8] There was also a JV tennis game. I'm friends with a bunch of girls on the team, so Jesse [The Ookami] and I hung out with them. I also played a girl named Ann at tennis so she could practice. XD I'm not THAT bad, but I'm not good at all. Aside from going across the street for food, we also talked and laughed and listened to music. Also boy talk, of course. XD Not me so much as say... Ann and Cienna, soyeah. Jesse totally stayed out of it. XD
Tuesday was also the first day of Freshman for a Day kindofthing in the school. I took around an 8th grader from my old elementary school. She's the sister of a friend of mine who sits in front of me in homeroom. His two younger sisters are twins, actually. I got one of the two, and some other girl in my homeroom got the other twin. XD We're friends, so it was alright.

Wednesday was really good. =] It was the first of three Spirit days for Homecoming. What was it? Color wars. 8] The Seniors were blue, the Juniors were purple, the Sophomores were yellow, and the Freshmen were orange. Yeah, I'm running around in dark blue jeans, black Chucks, a PenShoppe belt with a stripe of orange, an orange striped shirt over a white hoodie, and an orange bandana around my neck. Oh, for a couple of periods I also ran around with this awesome bright orange teddy bear that belonged to Daniel [that friend of mine whose sister was taken around the school by me]. He gave me teh bear by the end of the day. Pretty awesome dude right there.
During homeroom, I also talked to this reallyeffingcute guy for about ten seconds. Thing is, he's a pothead, so I have to stop liking him because that's NOT how I do. Straightedge FTW, man. Hardest part is... He's so cute AND he rocks out. DX
During lunch, I tried to get a friend of mine to talk to this guy who was hanging out with guys I'm friends with. So she and another friend of mine go over to the lunch table with "this guy", another guy, and Gene. So I'm talking to all three of them with the intention of getting my friend to talk to "this guy", but she didn't say anything. I TRIED.
During gym, we tied two jump ropes together to make one large one. So Erin and I are turning the ends of the rope, right? Well, I end up turning AND jumping in the rope with two other friends. It was pretty awesome. XD I haven't jumped rope in years like that, so it was loads of fun. I also discovered that attempting to double dutch is frightening, period. During Theology, we debated on whether God is more like a candle or a lightbulb. I was totally on the candle side, and made two totally awesomely valid points. However, Stephy's argument FTW. There was a pop Bio quiz that day that I assumed I failed. XD Turns out, I got a 19 out of 20. Pwned. XD;
Then AFTER school, Jesse and I did a whole photo op dealy. It was loads of fun. I may just make one of the pictures she took into a new banner for my journal. :3 I also put my orange bandana [It was borrowed from a friend of mind, Kathy.] on the orange teddy bear. Gene [Yeah, he's always aroung after school.] was like "AWESOME TEDDY BEAR" and "CAN I GIVE HIM A HUG?" Funny stuff, man.
I also had to take around another 8th grader. Not so fun. I didn't expect to get another person, and I didn't know her, soyeah. >_>;

Oh, and before I forget, I've been told many, many times that I don't look like a freshman, or people mistake me for an upperclassman. It's kinda fun. XD
"You don't look like a freshman at all?"
"So are you a junior or senior or sophomore now?"
"Are you a sophomore or junior?"
"You're one of the few cool freshmen."
Haha, last line was irrelevant, but Gene said that and I wanted to stick that in. XD

Wednesday night was also LOST. <3

OKAY, Wednesday was long.
Now for Thursday.
It was sport day. I just wore Knil's tennis hoodie. I was all for our school team. XD
I didn't have to take around a third 8th grader, so I was pretty happy. After school was decorating the hallways. Aside from doing small things like inflating balloons and putting a streamer-ribbon on my locker, I made the giant orange-striped FROSH '07 signs. They were two of the few things that didn't get torn down throughout the course of the day [You know how upperclassmen are to freshies, so I didn't put TOO much effort into it because I knew a lot of it would be gone before third period.] I also stayed after school while the Juniors decorated. I didn't help because, ya know, it's the JUNIORS. I only hung around because Jesse and Knil are juniors. XD

Friday. Yesterday. Fun stuff.
I stayed at school for over twelve hours. XD XD XD
The football game was at 7, so I just hung around and stayed and stuff until then.
It was an assembly schedule for the pep rally, which was pretty cool. I almost burned myself on the heater. XD Then after school, Jesse, Hayley [another friend], and I hung around and talked and played volleyball with balloons and went across the street for food and other fun stuff.
"ARE YOU CHOKING?"
"WELL, I'M MAD AT YOU FOR BEING MAD AT ME FOR BEING MAD AT HER FOR BEING MAD AT THIS SIGN WHICH IS MAD AT ME..."
Haha, spoofs.
Yeah, yesterday was when the drama started. .-.;

It was really cold out yesterday. I ended up wearing two shirts and a hoodie, which totally was ineffective. XD I now have a cold and am freaking delirious.

Alright, now for last night's football game. =]
I saw an old classmate of mine for the first time in like five months. His name is Mike, and he used to be one of the tallest people in my life up until last night. He's short now compared to a bunch of other freshman guys. XD Awww, I love him to bits and pieces still. =]
Another friend of mine named Mallory and I totally rolled down the grassy hill like three or four times. XD XD XD That was ridiculously fun.
There were also a bunch of other things [like tripping over litter, manhunts, and sharing chili cheese nachos].
And, our school team ACTUALLY WON. How awesome is that? XD

I could keep going, but this journal is pretty long already. XD
Homecoming isn't over yet!
Dance, dance on Sunday.
And I might be hanging out today, I'm not sure yet.

Life is pretty damn awesome.
