Well folks, as many of you gaians may know, there has been a giant problem with Gaia's Town feature. For those that have never tried the Town feature, it allows your avatar to own a home on a plot of land and customize that home. The problem is that there is not enough land for people to add their homes to, leaving many to reside in the dirt, myself included. I decided to browse for a way to grab myself a piece of land so that I may be able to actually have a place to personalize here on Gaia and found a quaint competition. The rules of the game entailed writing a concise and short piece of writing. The judge of the contest would then read over your work and then make cuts every few weeks, leaving one person as the victor. I entered the contest and have, already made the first cut, staying in the race.

I had submitted an interesting piece for the competition that I would like to call my call to communism with the Gaian Towns. I hope you enjoy it.

It is a sad state of affairs when as far as the eye can see are homes. Endless seas that sweep across the plains of Gaia, like a ghost town of antiquity. These homes, empty and unvisited by their owners, like a long forgotten pup. It is an even more sad state to bare witness to such affairs when most villagers are helpless against this plight!

I say we rise up against our opressors! Create a higher state of being within the housing developments that are active now and bring fourth a golden age to sweep away the tirade that is the bourgeois and give hope to those that wish craft out a living within the towns!

One may ask how this may be possible? The answer can be found within but the dreams of our people. We must not let fear, hate, unconfidence, and uncertainty reign over our hearts. We must let our passions run free and wild across the village plains! We must become organized! We must become active and alive, filled to the brim with the social intelligence that lets us make the conscious CHOICE to reside within a town and make it a better world for all to live within! I say now is the time for a revolution! Now is the time for the uprising of the masses to take control of what has been kept from us! The very lives of our children are at stake! We must rise and take hold of our homes; reclaim them from those that have pillaged our very beings for their personal gain! We! Must! Organize!"
