First off, last week I went to the Michigan Rennaisance with my lovely wife to be last week ago on sunday and let me say, it is always a sight to see. Michigan is one of the places that hosts a festival with a physical location with buildings and park all dedicated for the festival. The sights, sounds and smells are all alluring to the senses. In our adventure, we watched some performers such as Manolete! the man who bangs his balls on the floor. In reality he uses bolas in an acrobatic rythmic dance, all with jokes and the like, very entertaining. We also saw the Ded Bob Show.
Ded Bob is a hilarious show that entails the use of a very sarcastic, rude, crude and lude skeleton puppet that spends his time bonking the ladies with his giant bonker (which is a giant stuffed hammer). If ever you have the time to see Ded Bob in your area, be sure to do so. (Check him out at dedbob.com)
Other than that we looked around the shops, got our hands encased in wax (my wife to be, not ded bob haha), watched jousting and feasted on the delightful foods! Definitely a time of great fun!
