I want on this camping trip with my friends and it stormed and we all slept in my sister's boyfriend's tent. My boyfriend was there with me and I was kind of glad that it stormed but kind of not. I was freaking out because the thunder and lightning were so bright and loud. My best friend Becca tried to help calm me down and so did my boyfriend. I felt like such a dork because everyone else was fine and I was so scared. I had brought the plushie that my boyfriend had given me and I was trying to sleep with that but it didn't help. Well my boyfriend help me for a little then tried to sleep but I kept jerking around and I woke him up or kept him from going to sleep. Becca stroked my head and that kind of helped but not for too long. and then even after the storm was over I was still freaked out or was it because my boyfriend was near? I don't know but I couldn't sleep all night. I tried but I couldn't My boyfriend finally got to sleep around 3 or 4. I felt so stupid for keeping him up. But it was still fun. I would like to do it again. I would like to go to Dancing Leaf Earth Lodge and stay the night in the earth lodge. I would of course bring Becca and my boyfriend and a few friends. There are cabins up there so if someone's parents come along, probably mine, they could stay there and we could stay in the earth lodge. they have lots of fun trails and swings so we could just go explore. I think it would be so much fun to go there. I went there on 2 ESU camps and I wish they did that for high school kids. And when I went I was never scared, really.
