Woke up this morning with a bad dry cough. It's not slowing me down, but it is pissing me off. Got to work tommorow, stupid Price Chopper, I still haven't got the cash machine fully figured out. I also need to study my Organic Chem stuff, but things keep coming up. Tommorow, I just need to get writing my notes out of the way between classes (I rewrite my notes when I have time, then pull them out to study from), then I have just enough time to hop on the bus and get to the plaza, eat dinner, change into my uniform and then get to it. A guy who used to have a crush on me back in high school once worked in the meat department, but he's not there anymore. Oh well.

My day today was pretty good. I had to pick through leaf litter in pit traps my prof had set up on Monday to count bugs and stuff. We found a lot of sow bugs, I also located some tiny snails and other things. It was cool. Then my other class was my 5 hour Field Ecology lab, where I picked though river mud...for bugs. Didn't realize there was so much funky stuff in creeks. I used to like wading in them and swimming in lakes, it's amazing I never picked up anything. Mostly caddisfly larvae and midgefly larvae, pupae and adults. Kevin, the T.A. was impressed that I knew the difference between nymphs and larvae (larvae enter a pupae stage before becoming adults, nymphs simply grow bigger). I've been trying to show my knowledge of different stuff to show that I'd make a good T.A. someday myself, but so far, I think I've just effectievely annoyed a lot of my profs (not a whole lot, thankfully). At least my classmates like me. Told Kevin, the T.A. that I looked forward to annoying him next week (I was just joking, though, he's a cool guy).

I worry about my Uncle. I'm going to my little cousin's, his daughter's birthday party this Sunday. I bought her a plastic princess tiara and princess shoes. Stuck it in a Disney princess bag, with pictures of Belle, Jasmine, Ariel and all the other Barbie knock offs on it. I've hated Disney somewhat after their movies started sucking. I despised them when they pushed Pixar around. But they have redeemed themselves (a little) with decent translations of Myazaki's work. And I know every little girl has wanted to be a princess. Except me, I wanted to be the knight and kick some dragon a**.

Woah, I didn't know that Pirjian, one of my close friends, was into Initial D. Then again, he really likes cars. I just checked his IM screen name. Need to see what else he's into.

Oh yeah, yesterday I ran into this guy who wants to direct anime. Don't know where he's coming from, he didn't seem to know anything about getting started. I told him about Anime North and CN Anime as a good place to start networking, he knows some computer animation programming. Gotta e-mail him sometime.
